Spice Up Your Mornings

Winter is the perfect time of the year to spice up your mornings with a masala chai. Here is a recipe to make a delicious yet simple masala chai. Ingredients for 1 person:

100 ml of cow milk

100 ml of water

2 inch piece of fresh ginger

2 cardamom pods

1/4 inch cinammon stick

Sugar to taste

Direction: In a small pan add the milk, water, ginger previously crushed, cardamom pods and cinammon. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes then add 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of loose black tea. Let it boil for a couple of minutes. Strain and add sugar to taste. Enjoy it!
